在美国南北战争时期南方邦联的非正式国歌为“我希望成为迪克西(I wish I was in Dixie)”，也称“迪克西”。其作者是个美国北方人丹·艾美特 Dan Emmett，内容主要是对于南方乡土的歌颂。
该歌曲完成后变深受南北人民的喜爱，1861年2月18日，在杰佛逊·戴维斯的总统就职仪式上该曲被当作国歌演奏；据传林肯也很喜欢这首歌；另外罗伯特 李投降时也演奏了这首歌曲 。
