Yixing enjoys the reputation as “the sea of bamboo”, the planted area of bamboo is about 400 kilometers. The scenic zone is 30 minutes’ drive from Yixing urban area, and the public bus company has set 2 special tourist routes to the scenic zone. The main scenic area of the zone is about 10,000 mu, it has been called “the No.1 sea of bamboo in east China” and the representative scenic zone which well show the scenery and culture of the bamboo.
The main scenic spots include mirror lake, jadeite gallery, waterfall, aerial catwall and ancient temple.
