在中国政界和思想界，不用说远古了，自从辛亥革命以后，基本没出来过个人主义者，清一色的集体主义者。晚清开始直到现在，学习西方搞了好几拨，在新文化运动中学西方学的发疯，甚至提出了全盘西化，连语言都要西化；如德谟克拉西（民主），赛恩斯(科学），柏理玺天德（总统），康敏尼（共产主义），尖头鳗（绅士），爱斯不难读（世界语），等等等等。可让人无法理解的怪事是；西方文化的根；个人主义却迟迟进不了中国。不但进不了中国，而且被极端丑化！
