client：意为客户，这个只表示银行，广告或律师之类的客户，和另两个很好区分。
对于customer和consumer，我上marketing的课的时候区分过这两个定义。
customer behavior：a broad term that covers individual consumers who buy goods and services for their own use and organizational buyers who purchase business products.
consumer behavior：the process through which the ultimate buyer makes purchase decisions.
consumer意为消费者，这个消费者意思是“用了买来的商品”，着重“用”这层意思”；
customer意为顾客，可以“买”，但不需要“用”。
呐～举个栗子
比如孩子想吃栗子，妈妈去超市买回来栗子给孩子吃，孩子吃了，那么孩子就是“用”了这个商品，尽管他没有参与“买”，但孩子就是consumer；妈妈只是买了商品，她没有“用”，那么她就是customer；如果妈妈也吃了买回来的栗子，那么她既是customer也是consumer。
