首先，in the morning 是没有指明具体日期的，比如：
我经常在早上看书。
I usually read books in the morning.
而on the morning是指明具体某天的早上，一般前面有形容性词修饰或者后面加of，比如：
1、星期一早上我会出去。
On Monday morning（On the morning of Monday) I will go out.
2、在一个晴朗的早晨，我醒来迟了。
On a sunny morning I woke up late.
3、在1996年9月10日的早上，我感觉很差。
On the morning of Sep.10th, 1996, I felt bad.
