再英语中，play 后边是不是只有加上乐器，才在中间加the?

有这样的情况，但也不完全如此，可能有点约定俗成的规定，例如：
Play the violin（小提琴）, playing the piano（钢琴）, playing the erhu（二胡）都有 the.
但 playing clarinet（单簧管）, 却没有 the。
