I like reading newspapers and I am interested in both local news and international news. On the one hand,we can learn about all kinds of current events from all over the world by reading newspapers. So,it’s certain that newspapers are the important source of information. On the other hand, with the further development of globalization, the connection between countries is becoming increasingly close.Meanwhile, the local news reflects some events that affect our daily life more directly.Hence,it’s important to learn about both local news and international news.
Q2:Do you often use social networking websites?
How do you like this method of socialising?
Every coin has two sides and using social networking websites
is no exception. On the one hand,It provides us with a platform
to know more friends and it is convenient for us to communite
with others. It is also a channel for some people who are in trouble
to ask for help.On the other hand,we rely on the social networking
so much in our daily life and we have lost many opportunities to
communite with people around us,for example,our friends,parents,
teachers and so on.If we are addicted to the virtual world,we may
be silent and even don’t want to say a word in the real world.
What’s more,it is reported that some people are cheated by their
so-called friends made on the social networking websites. In all,
we must keep a wise mind when using social networking websites.
Q3:What’s your attitude towards the development of network new media? Is it a threat to the traditional media?
I think the network new media brings convenience to our daily
life.Just imagine what life was like 50 years ago, when the only
sources of news were those limited newspapers and uncertain
rumors from one person to another. The transmission of news was
so hard that it was almost impossible to finish all important news
within a short time. With developed network new media, however,
things are much different now.
Of course,we cannot deny the hard situation of modern people
when their lives are over occupied by new media.
With regards to the relationship between new media and
traditional media,I think new media makes up for the deficiency
of traditional media.Meanwhile, new media should learn from
traditional media in many aspects for further development. In a
word, the development of network new media isn’t a threat to the
traditional media.
Q3:Although the media is one of the most convenient methods for us to learn about all kinds of information ,are all of these information reported true and reliable and how can we distinguish the true from the false?
1、Keep intellectual and calm when facing all kinds of information rather than believing everything without hesitation.
2、Keep objective and just and don’t be sentimental. We should find the essence of information.
Q4:Do you think watching TV is a good way to get information?
In my opinion, most news on television is too short. It does not give you all the information on a subject. It can be a good way to get quick news, and to get started on what is going on in the world, but television is not very informative. The best journalists are not usually on television; plus, you only get a few bias opinions by news companies owned by other big companies. I think news should be received from non-bias journalists that work just to give their own personal opinions, or just to report the facts; so that you can interpret the facts and conclude on your own opinions.
Q4:Describe a film you want to watch again.
What do you think about commercial advertising?
Advantages:lead to increased sales, mass production and cheaper prices inform the consumer about the various products on the market, which leads to a better choice lead to greater competition and therefore better quality and lower prices
Disadvantages:it is expensive and if it fails to increase sales, prices will increase Consumers are tempted to purchase goods and services which they do not really need Leaflets may be thrown away when handed out in public, which adds to pollution
