英语中现在分词是什么意思

现在分词 (the present participle) 是以后缀 -ing 结尾的非谓语动词。现在分词可以与助动词 be 的各种时态形式构成进行时态 (continuous tenses)。例如：
*She was wearing a neat blue suit.
*They are playing football in the field.
*I'll be waiting for you at the school gate.
