一、含义不同:
interesting:
adj.有趣的;令人感兴趣的,有趣的;引起兴趣的;令人关注的
interested:
adj.感兴趣的;拥有权益的;有成见的
v.使…感兴趣(interest的过去分词)
二、使用中主语不同:
interesting:作表语时,主语通常是物。作定语时,既可修饰人,也可修饰物。
例如:
1、I am sure you remember Mrs Butler who gave us such an interesting talk last year.
我相信你一定还记得巴特勒夫人,去年她给我们作了一次非常有意思的演讲。
2、You will be successful in whatever you do and you will have a very full and interesting life.
你不管做什么都会成功,并且会过着非常充实有趣的生活。
3、This novel is very interesting.
这本小说很好看。
interested:主语通常是人,且多用于be/get/feel/become interested in结构中。
例如:
1、Since when have you been interested in poetry?
你从什么时候开始对诗歌感兴趣的?
2、You have drive and energy for those things you are interested in.
你对那些感兴趣的事情干劲十足。
3、I'm not a cook myself but I am interested in nutrition and that.
我本人不是厨师,但对营养之类的事很感兴趣。
三、用法不同:
interesting:
~ (to do sth) | ~ (that…)
有趣的;有吸引力的
例如:
1、Can't we do something more interesting?
我们就不能做点更有意思的事情吗?
2、Her account makes interesting reading.
她的叙述读起来趣味横生。
3、It is particularly interesting to compare the two versions.
把两个版本加以比较特别耐人寻味。
interested:
~ (in sth/sb) | ~ (in doing sth) | ~ (to do sth)
感兴趣的;关心的;表现出兴趣的
例如:
1、I'm very interested in history.
我很喜欢历史。
2、Anyone interested in joining the club should contact us at the address below.
有意加入俱乐部者请按下面的地址和我们联系。
3、We would be interested to hear your views on this subject.
我们很想听听你对这个话题的看法。
