Nigeria is in West Africa, along eastern coast of the Gulf of Guinea. and just north of the equator. Nigeria covers 356,669 square miles , about twice the size of California. Nigeria has the largest population of any African country.Nigerian population is very young. Nearly 45 percent of its people are under age fourteen. The three largest and most dominant ethnic groups are the Hausa,Yoruba, and Igbo.
