A New Year Dinner My family planned to have a new year dinner to celebrate our family reunion. The New Year Dinner is the most crucial part of the New Year party. We set out the dinner table with a white cloth which symbolizes high spirits and creates a soothing party aura. It was also lighted with scented candles and fluorescent bulbs. then a buffet was laid out and menu was planned according to the tastes and preferences of the guests and children. On this very New Year day, all my family memebers did have a great time. We gave one another good wishes and all the kids were asked to give new year resolutions, telling each other what they were eager to make come true in the year 2009. then we gorged on non-vegetarian food and cocktails. At the end of the dinner, we were a New Year special cake which was specially made by my grandmother. Everyone of us left with a happy smile on the face, and each of us said we were looking forward to having another reunion soon.
